BMKG Forecasts Rainfall Over Parts of Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The weather forecast from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) suggests light-intensity rainfall will shower over parts of Jakarta on Tuesday at noon. Specifically, the rain will likely drench the areas of Central, South, East, and North Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the weather for West Jakarta and the Thousand Islands (Kepulauan Seribu) is expected to be cloudy and partly cloudy this afternoon.

The rain is expected to not last into the evening, and the weather in all areas of the capital city is predicted to be sunny and partly cloudy.

The BMKG also issued an early warning for Jakarta and said the moderate rainfall could turn into thunderstorms in the South, West, and North Jakarta areas late into the evening and dawn.
