Emirates Extends Sponsorship Deal with AC Milan

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - One of the world's biggest long-haul carriers Emirates has renewed its sponsorship deal with AC Milan. The deal extends the partnership between the airline and the Italian football club, which has spanned more than 15 years.

Emirates issued a statement that its "Fly Better" logo will continue to be featured in AC Milan's jerseys, along with the brand's appearance in the club's youth jerseys across all AC Milan academies around the world.

The Dubai-based carrier did not say the value of the sponsorship. Emirates first signed a sponsorship agreement with AC Milan back in 2007.

AC Milan is one of the most famous football clubs in the world, and among the strongest in Europe with seven Champions League wins, second only to Spanish club Real Madrid, which is also supported by Emirates.

AC Milan is currently in second place in the Italian League's Serie A standings with 33 points earned in 15 matches. They are 8 points behind this season's leader Napoli. The club will play a game against Salernitana next year on January 4 when matches resume after the World Cup break.
