Jakarta's Tebet Eco Park Wins International Award

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Former Jakarta governor Anies Baswedan on his Instagram account congratulated the Tebet Eco Park located in the city’s Southern region for receiving the Singapore Landscape Architecture Awards 2022 in the parks and recreational category.
“It’s a delight to read that the @tebetecopark design by @siura.studio won the Gold Award under the Parks and Recreational Category at the Singapore Landscape Architecture Awards 2022. Congratulations!,” the former governor wrote on December 14.

The Singapore Landscape Architecture Awards 2022 was held on December 12. On its social media post, Siura Studio stated that the victory of Tebet Eco Park was an extraordinary milestone achievement for the city's efforts to provide more green spaces with ecological designs.
Anies Baswedan said the revitalization of the park was planned since 2019, but it was only implemented in 2021 and was officially opened after the revitalization in April 2022.
