Jakarta Logs 931 New Covid-19 Cases on July 3

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta on Sunday, July 3, logged 931 new confirmed Covid-19 cases after testing 10,749 specimens, the city’s head of Jakarta Health Agency’s disease prevention and control Dwi Oktavia reported.
“Out of that number of tests, 9,452 people PCR tested today to diagnose 931 new cases and 8,521 came back negative,” Oktavia wrote on July 3.
On the same day, there were 7,952 antigen tests taken with 338 coming back positive. However, antigen test results are not included in the daily confirmed cases as they must be reconfirmed with PCR tests.
Active cases on Sunday went down by 285 with a total number of patients under active treatment of 9,078.
In total, Covid-19 cases since the start of the pandemic back in 2020 amount to 1,272,755 cases with 1,248,357 recovery cases and 15,320 unfortunate deaths. This means the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has a 98.1 percent recovery rate with a mortality rate of 1.2 percent while the positivity rate in the past week logged 10.9 percent.
