TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The number of Covid-19 patients logged by the Tangerang regency task force continues to drop. The latest update suggests the regency only reported 245 confirmed Covid-19 patients left.
Tangerang Covid-19 Task Force spokesperson Hendra Tarmizi on Wednesday said that out of the hundreds, only 22 patients were treated at hospitals, Antaranews reported.
“22 people are treated at Covid-19 hospitals while 17 are isolated at the Yasmin Hotel. 206 of the rest are currently undergoing self-isolation at home,” said Hendra on April 13.
Meanwhile, 55 people have recovered as the regency reported 300 cases on April 13.
“There are no more Covid-19 deaths currently, we have found no more,” said Hendra.
The significant drop in the number of cases shows that transmission rates are starting to incline. However, the Tangerang Government continues to push for first and second vaccinations, along with booster vaccinations as the latter is mandated to travel in this year’s mass exodus or mudik.
