INFO TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) often face challenges in handling inter-island logistics in Indonesia. To overcome this problem, Tokopedia introduced 'Dilayani Tokopedia' service on Friday, March 18. Previously known as TokoCabang, the services allow sellers to store products in 'smart warehouses' in high-demand areas.
AVP of Fulfillment Tokopedia, Erwin Dwi Saputra, stated, “Dilayani Tokopedia assists sellers in business operations, from receiving, packaging, sending orders to handling transaction problems.”
“Utilization of Tokopedia's smart warehouse also helps boost sales, which is evident from internal data which shows that sellers who use Dilayani Tokopedia services have successfully increased their average transaction by almost two times,” Erwin explained.
Tokopedia experienced a spike in its fulfillment service transactions by nearly four times compared to the previous year. “Tokopedia will continue to strive to provide priority services for sellers to increase business competitiveness through Dilayani Tokopedia,” he added.
Dilayani Tokopedia also provides priority, fast and safe services for buyers throughout Indonesia. Buyers can access a wide selection of products quickly, enjoy shipping costs of Rp0 throughout Indonesia and a guarantee of goods arriving a maximum of 4 hours for delivery within the city and 48 hours in various other cities after payment has been received.
One of the MSMEs reaping the benefits of leveraging this service is the bio-organic fertilizer named Pupuk Dinosaurus. In the beginning, Freddy Wijaya and Steven Wijaya developed and produced this fertilizer to support Indonesian farmers in East Nusa Tenggara.
“We started as a social service. Today, Pupuk Dinosaurus is accessible by farmers in various areas, such as Sumatra, Bogor, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, South Sulawesi, West Kalimantan, and Maluku” said Freddy.
Pupuk Dinosaurus also provides educational videos through social media channels related to tips and tricks to increase productivity and produce higher quality crops. Freddy hopes that farmers can share their knowledge and insight with other farmers.
To fulfill the demands from all over Indonesia, Freddy uses Dilayani Tokopedia services. “Thanks to Dilayani Tokopedia, we gain a significant increase in sales revenue. This progress motivates us to keep contributing to the Indonesian farm industry,” he added.
Dilayani Tokopedia is currently available in six cities
across Indonesia, including Medan, Palembang, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Makassar. Later, the services will be expanded to other cities in Indonesia. *)
