TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ragunan Zoo management until 15:00 today, January 1, 2022, recorded 17,866 visitors in the tourist destination.
Based on the official statement from its public relations staff, Wahyudi Bambang, tourists visiting the zoo by motorcycle (1,465), car (818), bus (2), and bicycle (57).
Bambang said the number was almost similar to the number of visitors on Christmas holiday at around 17,000 people. He ensured that it was still under the 50 percent maximum of visitors permitted to enter the area during the level 1 Covid-19 restriction (PPKM Level) in the capital city.
“(The maximum limit) equals to 30,000 people,” he told journalists on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
The odd-even policy was also implemented in Ragunan zoo. Vehicles with even plate numbers were asked to turn around as they could not enter the area today.
Besides, the visitors must ordered the ticket online a day before. Being vaccinated is also one of the requirements to visit the family destination. “Which can be proven by scanning Peduli Lindungi QR code,” Bambang said.
