TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Economical Board B Commission of Jakarta Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) visited the Formula E circuit at Ancol today. The board chairman Abdul Aziz had requested PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Director Teuku Sahir Syahali to welcome the visiting team.

"Please prepare for our visitation to Ancol on 13:00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB)," he said during the commission meeting at DPRD office on Tuesday, December 28.

Yesterday, the commission hosted a meeting with Ancol and Bank DKI to discuss Ancol Rp1.24 trillion loan to revitalize Ancol Gate.

The visitation was requested by Jakarta DPRD chairman Prasetyo Edi Marsudi because he thought the circuit will be the part being revitalized in Ancol gate on east side.

The chairman threatened to report to the Crime Investigation unit of police if the loan is used to build the circuit. Because priorly Jakarta provincial government has agreed not to use Regional budget in hosting Formula E.

On the same meeting, Teuku ensured the funding of Formula E facilities is fully the responsible of PT Jakarta Propertindo and Ancol will only rent the land using the B2B system.
