TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian badminton team has qualified for the quarter finals of the 2021 Sudirman Cup after defeating Canada 3-2 at the Energia Areena di Vantaa, Finland, on Monday evening. 

The result against Canada ensures Indonesia two wins in Group C and will progress together with Denmark that won 5-0 against Canada and 4-1 against ROC Russia. 

Later on Wednesday (9/28) Indonesia will be facing Canada to compete for group winners with the winning team benefiting by meeting the runner up team in the next round. 

The Sudirman Cup schedule for Wednesday, September 29, will see Indonesia facing Denmark at 14:00 Indonesia Western Time (WIB) that will be aired live on TVRI. The same time viewers will see Canada against ROC.
