TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ancol Dreamland Park in North Jakarta opened up a COVID-19 vaccination center for children aged 12-17 years old starting Friday, July 23 to Sunday, July 25.
The center’s head, Budi Aryanto, said the vaccine program at the Ancol Beach City shopping mall was free for all kids, including those residing outside Jakarta. “We also support the government’s programs in preventing and tackling COVID-19,” said Budi in a written statement on Friday, July 23.
The opening of the vaccination center coincided with the National Children’s Day. The management targeted to administer 4,200 doses during the program. The second dose of vaccination will be held in August 2021.
The management has prepared 700 doses of Sinovac vaccine each day. “To complete the excitement, each child participating in the vaccination is entitled to a ticket to Ancol recreational parks,” Budi added.
Each child who has been jabbed with the second dose will get a free ticket to Dunia Fantasi (Fantasy World) or SeaWorld or Ocean Dream Samudra, which is valid until December 31, 2021. The vaccine registration is accessible via linktr.ee/vaksinancol or the official page of Ancol.
