TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Following a meeting with Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto on Monday, Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto remained tight-lipped after he was asked by journalists about President Jokowi and a possible Cabinet Reshuffle.
Both men had met at Prabowo’s home in Kertanegara IV in South Jakarta on Monday, July 6.
Prabowo only responded with a simple laugh which prompted Airlangga to respond with the same gesture while both men turned back and walked to Airlangga’s car.
Prabowo did not answer the questions and only laughed about it before returning back to enter his house. “That’s enough, bye,” said Prabowo while he kept smiling and waving to journalists standing by.
The rumor of a reshuffle emerged after a video of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo spread online showing him giving orders and warnings towards his Cabinet members on June 18. The meeting saw Jokowi highlighting his state-ministers upon the handling of COVID-19.
In the video, President Jokowi also said that he would not hesitate to disband state-agencies or reshuffle his Cabinet members.
