25 February 2019 19:19 WIB

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The police's Tinombala task force managed to detect traces of terrorist group East Indonesia Mujahidin group led by Ali Kalora deep in the forest of Poso, Central Sulawesi.

National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo announced the discovery of a post suspected of being a temporary base camp used by the terrorist group in a route known to link Poso to Parimo.

“We discovered and confiscated plenty of evidence such as clothes, equipment, up to communication devices,” said Dedi at the National Police headquarters in South Jakarta on Monday, February 25.
