TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) Commission of the People’s Representative Council approved the rights issue towards four SOEs including PT Wijaya Karya, PT Krakatau Steel, PT Jasa Marga, and PT Pembangunan Perumahan.
The total rights issue of the four SOE firms reaches Rp 14.3 trillion. The government will take the majority stake of the four companies through the Capital State Participation (PMN) which have been approved by the parliament in the amount of Rp 9 trillion.
Wijaya Karya plans to sell its shares worth Rp 6.1 trillion, Krakatau Steel worth Rp 1.8 trillion, Jasa Marga worth Rp 1.8 trillion, and Pembangunan Perumahan valuing Rp 4.4 trillion.
According to SOE Deputy Ministry of Reconstruction and Business Development Sector Aloysius Kiik, Wijaya Karya’s public portion in the rights issue reaches Rp 2.1 trillion. “Krakatau Steel at Rp 300 billion, Jasa Marga at Rp 450 billion, and Pembangunan Perumahan at Rp 2.15 trillion,” he sai at the parliament complex Senayan on Wednesday, Aug 24.
