TEMPO.CO, Incheon - Recue team has returned to find bodies of victims in the Sewol ferry that sunk off the coast of Jindo, Incheon, South Korea. Tragically, divers discovered bodies of a man and a woman tied together in one life vest. When brought to the surface, the diver was forced to separate them in order to ease the evacuation.
The diver said to the local newsletter, Kyungyang Shinmun, yesterday, he started crying thinking that the two wished not to leave each other.
The parents of the two victims saw their children with shaking voice, sobbing. South Korean officials have not mentioned the victim names on an official report before an identification completion.
This is not the first time rescuers discovered bodies in the Sewol ferry incident in a terrible condition. A few days ago, rescue teams reported that several dead victims - mostly children - were discovered with broken fingers.
Medical teams predicted the broken fingers were due to the effort of trying to survive from the sinking ferry. Most of the children were found on the third and fourth floor of the doomed ferry.
