BMKG Forecasts Partly Cloudy to Rainy Jakarta Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecasted that the weather in most areas of Jakarta will be partly cloudy from morning to evening on Wednesday, May 8.
The average air temperature will range from 25 to 27 degrees Celsius in the morning and reach 29 to 30 degrees Celsius in the afternoon and evening, as reported by Antara news agency.
The sky is expected to remain partially overcast throughout the day, except for South Jakarta, where light precipitation is expected. South Jakarta and East Jakarta are also likely to experience drizzling in the afternoon and evening.
At night, except for South Jakarta and East Jakarta, other areas will see cloudy skies with air temperatures hovering between 25-29 degrees Celsius.
On Thursday morning, the capital area is expected to be partly sunny with an average temperature of 24-28 degrees Celsius.
The BMKG also issued an early warning for rain accompanied by wind and lightning in the South Jakarta and East Jakarta areas overnight.
