But don't worry, there are plenty of indoor tourist destinations to explore in Greater Jakarta that can lift your spirits and chase away those monsoon blues.

Here are seven recommended indoor tourist attractions during the rainy season:

1. Jakarta Aquarium and Safari

Jakarta Aquarium and Safari is an excellent indoor tourist site that showcases more than 3,500 aquatic and non-aquatic animals, including otters and penguins, making it an educational experience for visitors. You can interact with marine animals and enjoy various activities, such as mermaid performances and 5D cinema. 

Located at NEO Soho, West Jakarta, the country’s largest indoor aquarium is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with ticket prices starting from Rp115,000 per person.

2. Trans Snow World

Trans Snow World is an indoor snow theme park located in Bintaro Park, South Tangerang and Bekasi. The park offers various activities and attractions, including skiing, jet skiing, cable cars, snowman building, and ice skating. It is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and ticket prices start from Rp200,000 per person.

3. SeaWorld

SeaWorld is a must-visit indoor tourist site that boasts the largest giant aquarium in Indonesia, housing a dazzling array of marine life. Visitors can also enjoy various shows, such as the show of divers feeding sea creatures and diving shows. It is located at Ancol Dreamland Park in North Jakarta.
