TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The 2018 Asian Games organizing committee finally launched the physical album of the 18th Asian Games theme songs simultaneously on July 19.
The album entitled 'Asian Games 2018: Energy of Asia' contains 13 tracks and sold at 600 outlets of fast food restaurant KFC in Indonesia.
“We want to make it easier for consumers to get the Energy of Asia album. This is a form of KFC Indonesia’s support for the Asian Games and to Indonesia as the host,” said the Fast Food Indonesia general manager Hendra Yuniarto, on Thursday, July 19.
The price set for an album is Rp44,000. The songs in this album have been introduced one by one since November 2017 and now people can enjoy it in an album. Various musical genres are presented in the album, including Dangdut.
The album involves top Indonesian musicians, including Ariel NOAH, Afgan, Anji, Armada, Bunga Citra Lestari, Cakra Khan, Dira Sugandi, Dipha Barus, GAC, JFlow, Isyana Sarasvati, Once, Slank, Shakira Jasmin, Via Vallen and a collaboration of 18 Energy artists.
“Such collaboration is needed to improve the splendor of the Asian Games and certainly can impact the economy positively,” said Erick Thohir, Chief Executive of the 2018 Asian Games.
