TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta`s Transportation Agency deputy head Sigit Wijatmoko noted the scheme of mid-term planning on Tanah Abang Market arrangement has soon to be finished. The grand design, said Sigit, has been submitted by PT Sarana Jaya.
According to Sigit, the concept suggested by PT Sarana Jaya will be adjusted to state railway operator PT KAI’s request. The design model also based on the urban design guidelines (UDGL) for Tanah Abang area. “KAI has a certain purpose, so [we need] to synchronize all,” he said.

Sigit explained that the realization is still waiting for the permit from Jakarta Capital Investment Agency and One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (PTSP). “The point is, the process has been discussed.”
Meanwhile, Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno explained the city administration did not want to decide carelessly on Tanah Abang arrangement, Central Jakarta, before conducting proper dissemination. Thus, he went on, the city officials have yet announced that mid-term planning concept.
