Sukmawati read the poem titled Ibu Indonesia (Indonesian Mother) in the 29th Anniversary Works of Anne Avantie at the Indonesia Fashion Week 2018, Jakarta, March 29.

According to East Java PWNU, the content of the poem contradicts with the attitude and the behavior of her father, namely Bung Karno (Soekarno`s nickname). For that, he asked the family of Bung Karno to clarify.
Besides disrespecting Islam, Sukmawati considered crashing the Islamic religious idioms, such as sharia, burqa, and azan, with the Javanese culture.
The clarification is needed so the public will not consider the whole family of Bung Karno has the same characteristic as Sukmawati, who did not seem to respect Islam.
