TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The General Election Commission (KPU) has completed a plenary meeting to follow up on the decision of the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) which won the Crescent Star Party (PBB) lawsuit.
KPU decided to declare that PBB is qualified as a participant in the 2019 election.
In a meeting that took place from noon until around 11:30 pm, Monday, March 6, Bawaslu finally decided to cancel the decision of KPU No. 58 on Determination of Political Parties Participants Election 2019.

“We have followed up and we decided to open the plenary meeting later on at 7:30 pm,” said KPU Chairman Arief Budiman at KPU Building, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, March 6.
The plenary meeting tonight, Arief said, will contain two agendas. The first is to establish the party that was led by Yusril Ihza Mahendra as the 2019 election participants. The KPU also schedules the submission of the serial number for the PBB.
The plenary meeting will be open and invite the representatives of political parties participating in the election, from ministries and related institutions, Bawaslu, DKPP, to observers of election and mass media.
The result is Bawaslu granted all claims by the PBB related to the 2019 election dispute with the KPU. PBB is eligible as a participant.
