TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Soekarno-Hatta Airport Main Branch Office in Tangerang, Banten, will provide special facility for online taxis registered in Police Cooperatives (Inkoppol).
State-owned Airport Operator PT Angkasa Pura II Branch Communication Manager of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Dewandono Prasetyo Nugroho in Tangerang on Saturday (22/10) said that PT Angkasa Pura II as an airport operator must prepare a special solution to maintain order to unregistered online taxis.
The facility provided is a booth in all terminals in Terminal 1 including Terminals A, B, and C. Meanwhile the booth is available in terminals D and F of Terminal 2.
"For Terminal 3, service users can go to international and domestic booths. This service begins to operate on Monday (23/10)," he explained.
In each booth, an operator officer will serve and provide education on how to order GrabCarthrough GrabNow application.
Online taxi drivers who are members of Inkoppol must have a driver’s license and wear a special uniform. The cars also have Soekarno-Hatta special stickers and have gone through roadworthiness test (KIR), Prasetyo went on. Around 500 online taxis will operate in the airport, he concluded.
