Police: 7000 Personnel Deployed to Secure Governor Inauguration

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Police and Jakarta Military District Command deployed 7,000 joint personnel to secure the inauguration of Jakarta Governor-deputy Governor Anies Baswesan-Sandiaga Uno on Monday (16/10).
"The inauguration is carried out in the Presidential Palace," Jakarta Police spokesman Com. Sr. Argo Yuwono said in Jakarta on Sunday(15/10).
Argo explained that the joint personnel will secure the event from Presidential Palace to Jakarta city hall.
Argo said that the event will begin from Presidential Palace and it will continue to the city hall and Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) until the evening to hold people’s party.
Jakarta Provincial Administration Protocol confirmed the inauguration of Anies-Sandiaga for the terms of office 2017-2022 in Presidential Palaceon Monday (16/10).
The committee of the protocol will comply with inauguration procedures and concept in the palace. In addition the committee along with Jakarta Police and Presidential Security Details (Paspampres) will list down and invite guests to attend the event.
