TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has hinted that it will name new suspects in the electronic identity cards (e-KTP) graft case.
"New suspects might not be named today, but soon," KPK chief Agus Rahardjo said yesterday, July 6, at his office.

The e-KTP graft case implicates House of Representative (DPR) members. DPR speaker Setya Novanto was said to be involved as well. The Golkar Party politician had earlier been questioned by KPK.
According to Agus, the KPK investigators are working hard to resolve the e-KTP case that caused trillions in state losses. "I will focus on how the team can work swiftly to show the results to the public," Agus said.

Pressed about the background of the new suspect, Agus declined to reveal it. He only smiled when asked whether the possible suspects are politicians. "Just wait. This is a big case," he said.
The KPK questioned six witnesses over e-KTP graft case yesterday, including former DPR speaker Marzukie Alie, Djamal Asis, Tamsil Linrung, Marcus Mekeng and Agun Gunandjar.
