TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State - owned toll road operator PT Jasa Marga reports that 434,000 vehicles have left Jakarta via Cikarang Utama toll entrance for Eid holidays. The figure was calculated from June 15 to 19.
"The number of vehicles leaving Jakarta has increased since last Thursday," Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communication, PT Jasa Marga, Dwimawan Heru said yesterday, June 20.
According to Dwimawan, some 82,000 vehicles left Jakarta on Thursday, a 4.35 percent increase compared to normal days. A significant hike took place on June 19 as the number of vehicles jumped by 100,000 or 30.11 percent.
