TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Chief of Public Relation of Metro Jaya Police Sr. Comr. Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, stated that the five suspects arrested on March 31, 2017 for alleged treason, including Secretary General of the Muslim People Forum (FUI) Muhammad Al Khaththath, have made plans long before the 313 Rally had taken place. The plan, according to Argo, was discussed in two separate meetings.

“There were two [meeting] locations, first in Kalibata where three people were present, and then in Menteng, where two people were present,: Argo said on Monday, April 3, 2017.

Argo said that Al Khaththath was present in the meeting in Kalibata.

Argo said that the meetings were held to discuss plans to topple the current government. Argo added that the suspects had even discussed possible entry points to the House of Representatives (DPR) office complex. "The meeting even discussed details on how to infiltrate the DPR office and how many entry points are available," Argo said.

Argo explained that the meeting had agreed to take seven possible entry points to access the DPR office complex, "including using the sewers and narrow path." Argo said that the suspects planned to use a truck as a battering ram to take down the DPR office's rear gate.

The meeting, according to Argo, also discussed the funds needed to carry out the plan. "In the meeting, it is said that to topple the government would require Rp 3 billion," Argo said.
