TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT TransJakarta will be deploying additional buses to anticipate the surge of passengers along its corridors that intersect Jakarta's main bus terminals, as the 2016 Eid al-Fitr Holiday draws to an end. The Executive Director for PT TransJakarta, Budi Kaliwono, said that TransJakarta buses will also be operating for 24-hours.
"This is a reflection of our commitment to provide a better service throughout our network," said Kaliwono through a press release received by Tempo on Saturday, July 9, 2016.
Passengers that arrive late at night could use TransJakarta's night-rider services (AMARI), which runs between 22:00 and 05:00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB) - and these buses will be deployed on corridors that intersect the capital's major terminals, namely Pulogadung, Lebak Bulus, Kalideres, Tanjung Priok, Pulogebang, and Kampung Rambutan.
"In Pulogebang Terminal, for example, additional services will run between 05:00 and 22:00 WIB," said Kaliwono - who added that feeder services will connect Pulogebang Terminal with Pulogadung and Rawamangun Terminal in East Jakarta, during those hours.
Meanwhile, between 22:00 and 05:00, services along Corridor II between Pulogadung and Harmoni, will pass through Pulogebang Terminal. These buses will stop at Gambir Station, before terminating in Harmoni.
