TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A member of Law Commission at the House of Representatives (DPR), Arteria Dahlan, said some of the terrorist convicts transferred from Salemba Prison in Mako Brimob to Nusakambangan Correction Center were not accommodated at the special terrorist prison.

"As many as 155 [prisoners] were moved yesterday, only 88 were accommodated. The rest was placed in Nusakambangan but in the general prison, which has no maximum security," said Arteria on Saturday, May 18, adding that it would endanger the general convicts as they could possibly be influenced by radical ideologies.

Based on the condition, the DPR`s Law Commission is seeking to build a new prison for the terrorism convicts in Nusakambangan. Later, the maximum-security prison will also be built in Cikeas, West Java.

Arteria said the House's Commission I have also asked all social media providers to make arrangements to minimize the possible terror acts.

After the riots occurred in Mako Brimob that killed one terrorist convict and five police officers, 155 terrorist prisoners were relocated from Mako Brimob to Nusakambangan.
