TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno said that Jakarta administration through Tourism Department Tinia Budianti will not hesitate to revoke the 4Play Alexis`s license if it is proven as the place of covert prostitution in Pademangan, North Jakarta.

The sanction will follow the prevailing regulation. The early step is giving a warning letter. “If it still violates the limit, we certainly will not hesitate to revoke the license,” said Sandiaga Uno Thursday, February 1.

Tempo investigation team revealed the covert prostitution on 4Play Alexis on Wednesday, January 10. It was not even three months after the Jakarta administration sent a notification letter to not extend the license of Alexis Hotel and Alexis Massage. Alexis' license was not extended because the hotel was suspected to be a hotbed of prostitution.

Although Hotel Alexis is no longer in operation, karaoke 4Play or Foreplay at Alexis still running the business as usual. In early January, on the third floor or exactly behind the reception desk, Tempo found about 40 women were sitting on the red sofa.

The women in disguise who act as the karaoke guide or lady companion (LC) can be ordered to do a striptease and even sexual service. Legal and Corporate Affairs Group Alexis Lina Novita denied the information when contacted by Tempo. According to Lina, the LC only performs their task, which is to guide guests who want to do karaoke.
