TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) will hold a protest at the Facebook Indonesia representative office on Jalan Gatot Soebroto, South Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Police Spokesman Comr. Argo Yuwono confirmed that the police had received the request.
The action involving thousands of FPI mass is scheduled to take place tomorrow, January 12. "The mass is estimated to be up to 1,000 people, we will prepare sufficient personnel maintenance," said Argo on Thursday, January 11.
The mass plan the rally after Facebook suspended FPI`s social media account. They plan to question about the suspended FPI Facebook account.

Argo hopes the FPI mass can rally in an orderly manner. In addition, police will prepare the personnel to manage traffic in the area. "[We have] enough personnel," he said.
Two weeks ago, FPI Jakarta Secretary General Novel Bamukmin said he would perform a rally in the Facebook and Communication Ministry offices. "We are preparing [the plan to hold a protest," he told Tempo on Monday, December 25, 2017.
Novel, along with FPI members and 212 alumni 212, will express the unfairness of Facebook for blocking FPI accounts. "We also ask Facebook to be fair. Immediately block the hoax, blasphemy, communist, LGBT, and also adultery accounts," he said.
