TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Police plans to conduct another investigation into the attack against Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigator Novel Baswedan. They considered the results of last questioning session were not as they expected.
“Due to time constraints, [the questioning] was not as expected,” said National Police chief Gen. Tito Karnavian on Wednesday, August 16.

Last week, Novel Baswedan was questioned by police in Singapore while he was still recovering from the acid attack. Novel was disappointed by how the police treated the investigation, considering that there were too many technical details that were leaked to the public.
Novel was questioned by police for a limited time in Singapore because of his recovery.
Tito has not set a schedule for the next questioning, although he explained that a discussion between the Deputy Police Chief and KPK officials has taken place regarding the investigation follow ups.
