Pesanggrahan River Overflows, Houses in Kebayoran Lama Inundated

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pondok Pinang housing complex, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta was inundated by 5-10 centimeter flood on Sunday early morning (23/7).
Quoted from twitter account of Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) @BPBDJakarta, the flood inundating housing complex of neighborhood unit (RT) 16 of community unit (RW) 5 and RT 17-RW 5 was caused by the overflow of Pesanggrahan River.
Based on the report from the subdistrict chief, the overflow of Pesanggrahan River flowed into the house at 1.30 in the morning. However, the residents did not evacuate.
From the pictures sent by the subdistrict chief, the flood inundated the road and alleys, but it began to subside at 04:50 in the morning.
