Argo noted that the police have been notified on the planned rally by its coordinator on Saturday, February 18, 2017.

The notice says that protesters will be moving after an early morning prayer. At 7 am, they will march to the DPR building. The demand would be the dismissal of Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama for being put on blasphemy trial.

The National Movement to Safeguard the Indonesian Ulema Council Edict (GNPF-MUI) and the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) had said that they would not join the rally.
