Tax Amnesty Collects Rp97.2tn Revenue

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The total revenue collected from the tax amnesty program reached Rp97.25 trillion, on October 7, 2016. According to the data of amnesty statistics available on Tax Directorate General's official website, the revenue came from retribution fee, tax arrears, and also the inspection termination of preliminary evidence.

Based on the data, the retribution fee received based upon the tax payment slips (SSP) have reached Rp93.82 trillion. The revenue from the tax arrears has reached Rp3.06 trillion, while the revenue from preliminary evidence examination termination has reached Rp 363.67 billion.

The Rp97,25 trillion revenue came from 409,285 SSP that went into the Tax DG; either from the ones that have not submitted their Asset Declaration Letter (SPH) or the ones that have not. Meanwhile, the number of declaration (SPH) reached 399,435 letters with retribution fees reaching Rp92.36 trillion.

Of the Rp92.36 trillion declared retribution fee, the Rp792 trillion was received from non-SME individuals, the Rp10.2 trillion came from non-SME corporation taxpayers, Rp2,87 trillion from SME individual taxpayers, and a Rp190 billion from SME corporation taxpayers.

As of today, the total asset that comes from the 399,425 declarations is at Rp3,770.45 trillion. The domestic declarations reached Rp2,555 trillion and overseas declaration reached Rp974 trillion. Meanwhile, the fund repatriated is at Rp141 trillion.

The tax amnesty program has entered its second period. This program has taken place for three months since it is first rolled out.
