TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As Central Sulawesi and Gorontalo Provinces are getting ready to host 2015 Sail Tomini and Boalemo Festival on September 9 to 12, the government of Gorontalo regency continues to improve its facilities and infrasturcture for the event.
Public facilities in Pentadio Resort such as public toilets and washing rooms are renovated to ensure convenience for the tourists surging to the festivals. Total renovations are even performed in several spots in the resort.
“Although it seems trivial, it will make a huge impact if it is not handled properly,” Azis Nurhamidin, Head of Tourism, Culture, Communication and Information Agency on Friday, August 2015.
Azis believes that the event will be attracting attentions of both international and local tourists. It is expected that the facility improvements in Gorontalo would boost the region’s tourism.
