TEMPO.CO, Jakarta- Australian Ambassador to Indonesia Paul Grigson visited Tempo office in the Palmerah, West Jakarta, Tuesday, August 4. Grigson came at Tempo’s invitation to its regular #ngopidikantor or drink coffee in the office event, an regular organized by Tempo employees.

"I am a coffee addict. Where there is coffee, I would go there,” he said in a conversation with Tempo editors. Donning a lavender shirt, he came with a group of embassy staff.

He was welcomed by Hermien Kleden, chief editor of Tempo English and Arif Zulkifli, chief editor of Tempo Magazine. "You are the first ambassador who came to the (new) Tempo office,” said Hermien. The coffee drinking is followed by a discussion titled "Hot and Cold Indonesia-Australia".

Grigson enjoyed Ciwedey coffee concocted by baristas Eko Punto Pambudi, Ajibon Yuliarto, and Ijar Karim. They are Tempo’s creative and design team. Aside to enjoying coffee, Grigson brought some home-made snacks from the embassy.

While sipping coffee, Grigson said that there are many differences between Australia and Indonesia. "But cooperation is still ongoing,” he said.
