TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - West Jakarta Communications and Transportation Sub-Department Office is going to repair four broken pedestrian bridges (JPO) in West Jakarta. This is because they have been severely damaged and could harm the pedestrians.
Those bridges are located in Cengkareng, Jalan Tubagus Angke in Grogol Petamburan, Terminal Kalideres, also Kalideres and Tangerang City Boundary.
Head of West Jakarta Communications and Transportation Sub-Department, Mirza Aryadi stated, the reparation includes replacing stairs and bridge cantilevers that have been porous. Besides that, rusty irons will be dismantled and replaced with the new ones.
"We'll repair the broken bridges this mid-May," he said, Monday.
He stressed that the reparation itself will be carried out by Jakarta Communications and Transportation Department.
