TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Cirebon is set to host the 2017 Archipelago Royal Palace Festival, said Cirebon’s Sultan Sepuh XIV Pangeran Raja Adipati Arief Natadiningrat, as reported by Antara News.
In the event, kings and sultans from all over Indonesian archipelago will be gathering in Cirebon. Cirebon Kasepuhan Palace, according to the Sultan, is an inseparable part of West Java culture where the history of Galuh Sunda Padjadjaran begun.
West Java governor Ahmad Heryawan also expressed his support for the event. He said that the government will continue to promote Cirebon to be one of featured tourism destinations in West Java.
