TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The home office of Jakarta Governor Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo on Jl. Taman Suropati has been tapped. Other than the home office, the governor's office at the City Hall has also been snooped by the espionage. The question is who has been spying on the Capital's number one?

The regional and foreign affairs bureau’s temporary chief, Heru Budi Hartono said the governor had known the person behind the espionage. "Mr. Governor knows," Heru Budi said yesterday. "I know who did it, too."

Unfortunately, when enquired whether the person is an Indonesian national, he diplomatically said: "I know who, but I can't tell (you)."

Heru Budi jokingly said the one who did it was from an intelligence institution. "The person has been in the field (intelligence) for quite some time. We already had a hint. That is just how the intelligence world is."

Heru Budi said he had been requested by Deputy Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama to check on his room. No tapping device found.
