TEMPO.CO, Cairo – An attack towards the supporters of Egypt's former President Mohamed Morsi by a group of armed men in the capital of Egypt on Wednesday, July 24, resulted in one fatalities.
On the same day, Reuters reported that a bomb also exploded at a police station in a province North of Cairo, killing one officer and wounding more than 15 others. Unknown assaulters threw the bomb from a passing car in Mansoura, the capital of Dakhalia province.
Al Jazeera's Rawya Rageh said that the attack on the pro-Morsi supporters happened in Heliopolis area, north of Cairo. "[The supporters] said that they came under attack by unknown gunmen who shot at them from an elevated point," she explained.
