TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Central Audit Agency (BPK) will conduct an investigative auditing on the North Coast (Pantura) Road project. "We will collect the data and do mapping first," said BPK director Hadi Purnomo at the Indonesian National Army (TNI) HQ in Cilangkap, Jakarta, on Monday, July 22.
Hadi said that the auditing process is expected to be completed immediately. Hadi ensured that the audit will be focused on projects along the Pantura road. "How is it that a road work is conducted every year? We want to know," said Hadi.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is also investigating the road work projects in Pantura road. "We only received reports. We haven't made any follow-up; we're just verifying [the reports]," said KPK chief Abraham Samad in Jakarta.
