TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Central Java branch of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID) has warned three private television stations and one radio station concerning their broadcasts. The media outlets are CTV, Trans TV, PRO TV Semarang and Abirawa FM Batang.KPIDs broadcast content supervision coordinator, Zainal Abidin Petir, said the stations violated Law no.32/2002 on Broadcasting Guidelines and Program Standards. The KPID said that an SCTV presenter sang the national anthem Indonesia Raya disrespectfully during a television program on September 19. Meanwhile, a Trans TV presenter was judged to have behaved improperly during a program on September 18.PRO TV Semarang also violated the code of ethics during a program showing alternative medication. A similar violation was committed by Abirawa FM in an alternative medication advertisement which was deemed irrational and deviant by the KPID. ROFIUDDIN
