According to Muhari, roads are now passable, but he still warned of the possibility of another landslide. Two hamlets were isolated due to the difficult terrain, barring heavy equipment to enter the area. The hamlets were Batu Ciak and Palembongan in Bungin Village, Bungin District.
"The power supply and network are down, the communication equipment currently operated uses Orari's (Core) HT communication lines," said Muhari. The Enrekang Regent declared the Flood Emergency Response Status for 14 days from May 3 to 17, 2024.
