BMKG Forecast Cloudy and Rainy Weather in Parts of Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released a weather forecast for the capital city of Jakarta for today, March 25. It is reported that the city will see cloudy skies and rain.
During the day, East Jakarta will be soaked by rain with moderate intensity, while South Jakarta will experience drizzle. Other parts of the city, including Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands, are likely to have cloudy weather.
At night, the drizzle in South Jakarta will have the possibility to intensify into thunderstorms. The agency warns of rain with lightning. Otherwise, the rain intensity in East Jakarta will decrease to light.
Central Jakarta and North Jakarta will remain overcast. Meanwhile, partly sunny weather is forecast for the Thousand Islands.
Today, the average air temperature in the capital is expected to be between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius.
The BMKG further forecasted that the weather in all areas of Jakarta will be partly cloudy in the early hours of Tuesday, March 26.
