TEMPO.CO, JakartaAirAsia is currently offering a free seats promo and flash sale for flights from Indonesia, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur to Thailand. The promo is offered specifically for those traveling to Thailand after exploring Kuala Lumpur.

The free seats promo to Chiang Mai is eligible for tickets purchased on Feb. 29 to March 3, with eligible flights until Nov. 30, 2024. The flash sale tickets are offered for flights to four destinations in Thailand, namely Krabi, Bangkok, Phuket, and Hat Yai from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

AirAsia supporting tourism recovery

Group CEO of AirAsia Aviation Group, Bo Lingam said on Thursday that the airline was moved to support the recovery of the regional tourism industry and revive the desire to explore and experience the wonders of Thailand for travelers from neighboring countries. "As an ASEAN airline, this campaign shows AirAsia's commitment to strengthening ties between people and culture in this region," he said.

According to him, Thailand remained a favorite destination for AirAsia. The airlines carried more than 300,000 passengers from Indonesia and Thailand last year, with hopes to increase the number in 2024.

Thailand tourism, said Bo Lingam, offers stunning natural beauty, rich culture, and unforgettable experiences. "We are also very enthusiastic about providing Thais with the opportunity to fly to these three key markets."

He hoped that this could stimulate demand for two-way travel and contribute to economic recovery. "We look forward to connecting millions of our guests between Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand through this campaign," said Bo Lingam.

Collaborating with Thai actor Tay Tawan

AirAsia launched Takeover Thailand with Tay Tawan on Thursday at Dadi Cinema, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Thailand tourism campaign, which will last until September 22, 2024, was attended by more than 1,000 Tay Tawan fans from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

The famous Thai singer and actor Tay Tawan said he was honored to be able to represent Thailand and play a role in inspiring travelers from Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia to explore his homeland. "Thailand has so much beauty, from its stunning views to the friendliness of its people, and I am proud to present this attraction with AirAsia," he said.
