TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Several tainted ballots were found at the polling station (TPS) 54 in Mahkota Pesona Villa, Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency, West Java. The ballots have been rigged to vote for the Prabowo-Gibran pair pre-emptively.
Chairman of the General Election Supervisory Agency or Bawaslu, Rahmat Bagja, said there were findings of alleged election violations. One of them is the case of ballots being voted on at TPS 54.
"For example, [the ballot rigging was found] in Gunung Putri," said Rahmat at the Bawaslu Media Center, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
However, Rahmat was reluctant to state that the ballot paper that was voted on was at candidate pair number 2, Prabowo-Gibran. "Go ask the other [staffs]," Rahmat said, responding to reporters' questions. Rahmat stated that there were eight ballots in Mahkota Pesona Villa at TPS 54.
He added he still needed to check again the locations where the alleged fraud occurred. According to Rahmat, Bawaslu only had seven days to monitor various findings of violations.
"If this process is considered structured, systematic, and massive, it must be found in all polling stations," he said on the case of the rigged ballots.
Previously, a video was circulated regarding alleged violations of ballot papers. Some people at the Mahkota Villa polling station in Bogor Regency protested the ballot paper. "This is the fourth ballot paper at polling station 54 that has been voted on candidate number 2," said a man wearing an identification card of a member of the voting organizing group or KPPS.
