Vice Presidential Debate; Supporters Cheer for Respective Candidates

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The first vice presidential debate is taking place this evening at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), starting at 07:00 p.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
As observed by Tempo at the debate location, supporters of each running candidate have filled up the place since the afternoon. They were seen trading cheers to their respective candidates to appear on the stage.
Supporters of Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md arrived at the venue at around 05:30 p.m. WIB, and tens of them were seen chanting cohesively in support of the running pair number three.
"Assalamualaikum, waalaikumsalam, Ganjar-Mahfud has come, bringing a crowd," they cheered loudly while clapping. Most of them are clothed in black or pink.
Their cheer was then answered with a chant from supporters of Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka who's been at the location since 04:00 p.m. WIB.
"Prabowo-Gibran, Prabowo-Gibran, they will win big. Prabowo-Gibran, Prabowo-Gibran, trust that they will win big," the supporters chanted using the melody of the children's song "Lingkaran Kecil, Lingkaran Besar" (Big Cirlce, Small Circle). They were seen wearing mostly black with occasional light blue.
Meanwhile, supporters of running pair number one Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar were cheering loudly by proclaiming Cak Imin, Muhaimin's nickname while clapping. They wore white clothes.
The vice presidential debate will face Muhaimin, Gibran, and Mahfud Md on stage this evening. The debate will bring up themes such as people's economy and digital economy, finance, investment, taxes, trade, management of the state budget and regional budget, infrastructure, and urban areas.
