BMKG Forecasts Jakarta to be Partly Cloudy All Day

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The weather forecast today in Jakarta on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, is partly cloudy from morning all the way to evening.
According to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency or BMKG, this weather will occur in almost all parts of Jakarta including the Seribu Islands.
Jakartans are expected to go about their day as usual, since BMKG did not release any early warning on Jakarta's weather today.
Central Jakarta and North Jakarta are expected to be partly cloudy today, with air temperature ranging from 26 to 30 degrees Celsius, air humidity level of 75 to 90 percent, and wind velocity of 0 to 10 kilometers per hour toward the northwest.
A similar weather is recorded in West Jakarta, BMKG reported, with air humidity levels of 65 to 70 percent in the morning and afternoon and 70 to 80 percent in the evening. The wind velocity is also similar to the direction toward the northwest in the afternoon and south in the evening.
BMKG forecasted the hottest temperature in South Jakarta and East Jakarta today, with 31 degrees Celsius at the highest and 30 degrees Celsius at the lowest. Meanwhile, the air humidity levels are 65 to 70 percent.
In Seribu Islands, the air temperature was lower with 27 to 29 degrees Celsius. According to BMKG, this temperature will rise in the evening to 30 degrees Celsius, with air humidity levels of 75 to 90 percent.
Meanwhile, the wind velocity in Seribu Islands also varies, 10 to 20 kilometers per hour, moving toward the southeast at 04:00 a.m., south at 07:00 a.m., toward the west at 10:00 a.m., and 01:00 p.m. to the northwest. In the evening, the wind will move back toward the west.
