Batik Air Offers Discounted International Round Flight Trips from Padang

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Batik Air offered the opportunity for West Sumatrans and its surrounding regions to explore international destinations through Minangkabau Padang International Airport with discounted flight tickets. 

"The best round trip offers in the BookCabin app, such as Kuala Lumpur starting from Rp700,000; Seoul starting from Rp4.2 million; Tokyo starting from Rp6.3 million, and others," said Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro in a written statement on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

Danang added that the airlines also offered a  round trip and hotel package for three days and two nights. "Batik Air provided the best prices for an exciting adventure from Padang to various well-known cities in the world," he said.

Those destinations are Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia starting from Rp826,000;  Bangkok, Thailand starting from Rp2.1 million; Guangzhou, China starting from Rp2.9 million; Taipei, Taiwan starting from Rp3.2 million; Hong Kong starting from Rp3.9 million; Seoul starting from Rp4.6 million, and Tokyo, Japan starting from Rp6.8 million. 

Batik Air also offered affordable round trip tickets from Padang to Kuala Lumpur starting from Rp700,000; Guangzhou, China starting from Rp2.3 million; Taipei, Taiwan starting from Rp2.7 million; Hong Kong starting from Rp3.4 million; Seoul starting from Rp4.2 million; Tokyo starting from Rp6.3 million; Dubai starting from Rp7.8 million; Tashkent, Uzbekistan starting from Rp11.9 million (flight schedule from Dec.15); and Istanbul, Turkiye starting from Rp13.6 million (flight schedule from Feb. 9, 2024).

Danang also explained the benefits of traveling with connecting flights, or multicity. Connecting flights involved two airlines, Super Air Jet for the Padang-Kuala Lumpur-Padang route and Batik Air which serves flights to various international cities. 

"[Multicity] provides flexibility in choosing the preferred service," he said. 

The multicity concept allows businesspeople and tourists to explore various international destinations on a single trip, gaining access to more than forty cities worldwide. 

Batik Air and Super Air Jet collaborate to organize the optimal schedules between arrival and departure in Kuala Lumpur, offering a minimal waiting period for travelers. 

"[Batik Air] ensures a smooth connection between domestic and international flights for businesspeople and tourists," Danang concluded.
