TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The music concert for Coldplay is scheduled to be held this evening, November 15, at the Main Stadium of Gelora Bung Karno (GBK).
Concert-goers must be well prepared for their accommodation to reach GBK. From Transjakarta, MRT, Damri buses, and KRL Commuter Line, several public transportation choices are available to reach the concert venue areas.
Nearest KRL Station Around GBK Stadium
The GBK Main Stadium is located at Jl. Pintu Satu Senayan, Gelora, Tanah Abang, Central Jakata. There are at least three KRL Stations adjacent to the venue, namely Palmerah Station, Karet Station, and Sudirman Station.
1. Palmerah Station
Palmerah Station has the shortest distance at three kilometers to reach GBK. By foot, concert-goers will arrive at GBK after 10 minutes of walking. They could also use Transjakarta or online ojek (online motorcycle taxi).
2. Karet Station
The distance between this station and GBK is four kilometers. After getting off KRL at Karet Station, concert-goers could use Transjakarta or online ojek.
3. Sudirman Station
The distance between Sudirman Station and GBK is five kilometers. To reach GBK from this station, concert-goers could use Transjakarta, MRT, or online ojek.
KRL Routes to Coldplay Concert at GBK Stadium
After knowing which adjacent stations are chosen to reach GBK, concert-goers will need to continue the trip with other modes of transportation such as Transjakarta, MRT, or online ojek.
Concert-goers who embarked from Bogor, Bekasi, and Jakarta City on KRL will need to go through Manggarai Station. From there, board on a KRL heading to Tanah Abang or Duri and stop at Sudirman Station or Karet Station.
Those who choose to stop at Sudirman Station can continue the trip on MRT from Dukuh Atas Station heading to Istora Mandiri Station. Or, they can continue the trip on Transjakarta, through corridors 1N, 1P, or 1C, and get off the busway at Gelora Bung Karno 1 Bus Stop.
However, concert-goers who choose to get off at Karet Station could continue their trip using Transjakarta through corridor 8C to get off at Kompas Gramedia Bus Stop and walk toward the concert venue at GBK Stadium.
Meanwhile, for Coldplay fans who embark from Rangkasbitung on KRL may stop at Palmerah Station from Tanah Abang. After getting off at Palmerah Station, concert-goers could walk or get on Transjakarta through corridors 1B or 1F before stopping at Graha Kemenpora Bus Stop.
