Police Announce Traffic Diversion to Anticipate Coldplay Concert

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Traffic Management Center or TMC Metro Jaya Police announced its traffic engineering plan around the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium today, Wednesday, November 15, 2023, ahead of the long-awaited Coldplay concert.
TMC urged drivers to avoid the traffic around GBK Stadium from 02:00 p.m. to 00:00 a.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
Meanwhile, the police recommended that all concert-goers use public transportation to reach GBK Stadium. "Drop off in front of the entrance, GBK does not provide parking areas," TMC wrote on their official X account @TMCPOLDAMETRO on Tuesday.
The detail of traffic engineering planned to anticipate the Coldplay concert is as follows:
-The traffic from Jl. Gatot Subroto toward Jl Gerbang Pemuda will be directed toward Slipi
-The traffic from Spili will be directed to Semanggi, no roads toward Ladokgi Overpass from Jl. Gerbang Pemuda
-The traffic from Senayan Roundabout toward Jl. Pintu Satu Senayan will be directed towards Jl. Jenderal Sudirman to Semanggi
-The traffic from Jl. Mustopo toward Jl. Asia Afrika will directed to the right to Jl Hang Tuah Raya
-The traffic from Jl. Patal Senayan 1 toward Jl Asia Afrika will directed to the left toward Jl. Tentara Pelajar
-The traffic from Jl. Tentara Pelajar toward Jl Patal Senayan will be directed to Jl. Permata Hijau
-The traffic from Manggala Wanabakti to Jl Gelora will be directed to Jl. Tentara Pelajar
Coldplay will hold its concert this evening at the Main GBK Stadium. The concert dubbed Music of the Spheres World Tour 2023 will invite Indonesian singer Rahmania Astrini on stage as a special guest.
